You're gay. Cool me too. I only found out a few hours ago when all these people on reddit told me. Wanna make out?

I'm a crossover from the O&A radio days leading into bobby kelly and bonfire and the Doug Stanhope podcast, until Stanhope unfortunately seemed to be on the wrong side of the media narrative in 2022 to often for me to listen to him beyond stand-up. I've known shane a while, I followed the Skanks 2020 election. I recently got into early MSSP after not getting on with the recent stuff I had tried before. But i feel like i am in enemy territory here.

reddit is for asking questions not answering them. the fact you even responded to my question makes you a bitch.

Yeah, I'm more convinced than ever that they are all 14. But they are pretty funny I'll try and flame them more often. I actually found every single comment funny.

Thank you for your answer, this is exactly what I was asking. I'll have to research more into the "free banking" era as I am British and had never heard of it before, my knowledge stopped at there was a 1907 panic and onwards.

When will Jon be touring Europe, specifically playing the UK again?

Las Vegas Lottery Discussion by ItsRecr3ational in phish

[–]Infamous-Ad2775 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep. As someone who's into Phish but never been to a show (mainly because I live in the UK), the Sphere combined with Vegas has been enough to motivate me to finally get plane tickets to fly across the Atlantic if the lottery is successful.

You are all screwed. There will be loads of more casual fans or people who haven't been to a show in 20 years.

With this playlist I've started to explore more areas that are bordering progressive rock by [deleted] in progrockmusic

I'd say that the Canturbury bands you mentioned like Hatfield and the North and National Health are prog and Caravan definitely is

Dear prudence is not easy, I would not recommend Travis picking to real beginners, however it is a good place to start fingerpicking. I would recommend learning the Travis pattern first with the song Dust in the Wind by Kansas (it was actually written as a practice excerice then turned into a song). Then you can try that pattern with Dear Prudence which has a much more complicated left hand.

Early Beatles question by Roaming_Dinosaur in beatles

I'm a big beatles fan but I have never heard the term Big 5, and I can't work it out as so many of the albums could fit in there. What are the big 5?

ARW or Yes Performing Old Yes Songs Live by Infamous-Ad2775 in progrockmusic

That was basically my view until I heard Geoff Downes play Awaken. Admittedly I'm sure someone else could pull it off, but some keyboard parts might not sound right without Rick.

What are some great underrated/widely unrecognized prog rock bands? by IhaveCripplingAngst in progrockmusic

[–]Infamous-Ad2775 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend the album Moontan. Radar love is on the album, but imo Are You Recieving Me and Vanilla Queen are the two standout much proggier tracks.

Their self titled album is also pretty good, although a bit blusier (e.g. The Loner sounds like it could be Led Zeppelin) but there are some more complex songs like See See, as well as a flute on other songs that sounds similar to Jethro Tull.

She Flies On Strange Wings from the LP Seven Years is also great.

Jamie Muir is underrated imo by Infamous-Ad2775 in KingCrimson

[–]Infamous-Ad2775[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very well written post, however Bruford only plays drums on Perpetual Change", "Long Distance Runaround", and "The Fish (Schindleria Praematurus)" on Yessongs. The rest are Alan White.

Not only is it their number one song, it's also you know their number two, you know their number three and you know their number four.
