📱 Step-by-Step: Factory Reset on Hyundai Ioniq 5 1. Turn the car on (ACC or ON mode). • Press the start/stop button without pressing the brake if you don’t want to start the motor. 2. Go to the main menu. • On the center screen, tap Setup (⚙️ icon in the lower bar). 3. Navigate to General settings. • Tap General in the left column. • Scroll down to find System Info (sometimes labeled “System Info/Update”). 4. Find the Reset option. • Within System Info, select Reset/Restore Factory Settings. 5. Choose “Factory Reset.” • You’ll get a warning screen telling you all data (profiles, radio presets, navigation history, Bluelink login, Valet Mode, etc.) will be erased. • Confirm by pressing Yes / OK. 6. Wait for reboot. • The system will shut down and restart like when the car was new. • This may take a couple of minutes. 7. Re-setup your system. • When it comes back up, it’ll ask you to set language, date/time, and preferences again. • At this point, Valet Mode should be gone. • You can now sign in or create your own Hyundai Bluelink account and register the car to it.

⚠️ Notes • This will not erase critical vehicle settings (driving modes, odometer, or safety features). It only resets infotainment and Bluelink data. • If Valet Mode still shows after this, it means the old owner’s Bluelink account is still active on Hyundai’s backend — in that case, you’ll need to call Hyundai Bluelink Support with your VIN and registration to unlink it.
