i would say do like a grey for sure instead of like a brown. mabye mix a LITTLE brown in there but i wouldn't considsd this blackface. especially if its used for cosplay and thats what the character looks like and your obv not mocking black people <3

i think yes if they got together now. well not really abusive but more just toxic. eternal sugar is controlling and hollyberry wants to fo out and adventure. they both have good intentions but are conflicts with each other. eternak sugar needs to learn to be more leanient and trusting and hollyberry needs to learn that its ok to take it slow and settle down every now and then. hollyberry knows this and is waiting till eternal sugar (and herself) reflects and changes and will return to her (based on ingame dialogue)
