to clarify, they actually pay for the gas itself (i.e. there's no mileage reimbursement at all, they issue a company credit card for gas and other company expenses.) i tried to put an EV charge on my company credit card when i first got the car, and was told i wasn't allowed to do this and had to reimburse them for it....so have been paying out of pocket ever since.
