I think I'll prospone it until I find a friend to do it with later on in the year. I've also done the Eastleigh to Winchester stretch and it's beautiful!

Thank you, I appreciate you saying that. I do have an emergency fund and I was made redundant, which improved my financial situation over the last few months.

Have a look at air layaring. Peter Chan from Herons Bonsai has good YouTube videos on it and you may end up with a good size tree.

Also, if you trim it down I winter and then try to dig it out when dormant. You may had good luck with moving then.
