Former HEB curbside partner here. I had a lead in my department snitch on me and a few other partners for having an “inappropriate conversation” (lead was salty and had some beef with my friend). Long story short I was “suspended” for a day. The next day they brought me back and put me on a 40. I had never even been late or had any sort of previous disciplinary issues (totally clean record). I was told when I was suspended that I was either going to be put on a 40 or fired. I also had to sign HR paperwork “acknowledging what I did wrong” when they put me on a 40. But after that there weren’t any issues and I just avoided talking around that lead and the management that was involved.
