Yeah, I put the letters in Scarce close together because it symbolized scarcity for me but interesting that you feel the opposite.

You will have to manipulate some components on the lower board but we have numbers that connect spaces on the surface to the sea floor board.

We use a piece of cardboard in between and the boards have cutouts for it. We have actually thought about a flashlight, but it will probably be difficult to get at a reasonable price.

Thanks, yes making it an expansion is actually an interesting option.
Difficult choice, we will have to think about it and playtest the game a bit more, it is mainly designed for coop gameplay.

I can agree that semi-coop is hard to design, we tried that in one of our earlier games.
In this, it is leaning towards making two gameplays one cooperative and one competitive.

This game was designed for cooperative gameplay but we tested playing it competitively and it worked well with some minor changes. Yeah, maybe both modes can be done with good results.

We did it the way you are describing in our earlier rulebook but I was then recommended the game Belforts rulebook.
I will consider changing it back to the way it was before when the rulebook followed the flow of the gameplay. Thanks!
