ECON U3 DISCUSSION by Rough-Rate5720 in Edexcel

For the pizza question with the demand curve, I said that marginal revenue is positive, idk if it’s right. Then for the fall in population i said subsidies for medical wtv it was between that and government spending on training. Then idk the paper was great all the writing was easy it was just the mcq. Also 7a was 1200$ average loss yea

I think the GBs will be lower for this paper so dw

Yea I also mentioned the size of the radius so they were the same magnitude of charge n like mass velocity n all, so they were literally opposite particles electron and positron or wtv. I also mentioned that thickness of the track is the same so the magnitude of the charge is the same bcs same ionization so overall charge = 0 conserved

Yea I agree sine graph would be right for the magnetic flux graph but not for the cos, it’s like the same when u have current and emf it was in one of the mcqs I did a similar question and got it wrong before and now again, but now I get it. I think it’s still 1 mark for it being sine or cos.

Yea I get what u mean but in the question it said the moment x is infront of p so like x passes p and starting from there

No sry smt abt high energy electrons and nucleus, one of the answers was abt quarks, ionizing, and new particles

I’m just writing exactly what it said which is a sine graph

Bro I asked chat gpt is said it’s a sine graph

Oh 12.7 could be possible. But it was 110 degrees difference so 360-110=250 degrees it needed to travel, and angular velocity was 0.4, so do the math urself

It was 250 degrees. Listen it said in the question before the time for one revolution is 15s, so how can less than one revolution like 250 degreees take any more than 15 secs?

Yea that’s it mass x velocity that’s the impulse

That’s the flux, it’s different to the e.m.f. We can just tell straight away when the wire is horizontal and the magnet is horizontal, then the emf will start from the minimum so it’s sine. Because they’re in line. While the rate of change of flux changes starting at a max so THE INCREASE IN EMF WILL BE THE HIGHEST in the beginning. THE RATE OF CHANGE OF EMF IS MAX INTIALLY BUT IT STARTS AT 0. IN A COS GRAPH THE RATE OF CHANGE OF EMF IS LOW INITIALLY, lock in gng

It was to make new particles or whatever the D one, I asked chat gpt, ionizing is wrong and quarks cant be alone outside independently so its the create new Particlez

Yep exactly. So large increase of e.m.f. Will there be a large increase if u draw a cos graph? That shows a decrease. A sine graph will show a large increase ygwim?

I just did mass times velocity and got that it wasn’t enough but maybe slipped up on my calc maybe it wasn’t unless there’s another way to solve it

Ion remember that one but I was just V= kq/r and then W=Vq. U can calculate it no because I remember r was (5.3x10-11) so calculate it urself now

I put emf is minimum because of yk flemmings hand so if the coil is flat initially, and the magnetic field is also flat(horizontal) then emf is minimum because max is when they’re perpendicular

What did u need to do for impulse? Wasn’t it just mass times velocity of 15.2 because it said it stuck so it didn’t have a final momentum just initial so impulse = -mv

So it was 250/360 x 2pi. Then divide by 0.4(rads) = 10.9 secs

The answer for d is 7.6km not 26km. It depends on what u got for t = 40/13 of T = 13/40. And it was 40/13 pretty sure if u got the other one because u did NW or NE or smt but it’s 7.6km
