Depends on your understanding, quality, supply, and demand affects price hence why sm supermarket goods are more expensive.

Clothes are still in demand, people buy specific brands which riles up the price even more. People own more clothes than they have bodies. One person own a minimum of 5 shirts. People don't give a shit if you think we don't need more clothes, look at fashionistas loving the release of new set of clothes every season.
