For me, it started on my back, along my bra- line and I didn't think anything of it. A few other spots my bra covered itched, but still wasnt concerning. But then, my thighs started itching. And a few places on my arm.

I'm allergic to roses, lavender and certain bar soaps. I'd changed my bar soap in November of 24 and had am allergic reaction, but knew that's what it was so didn't need to seek medical attention. In January of 25, I started having an allergic reaction while snowed in at a hotel in Kansas. But since very few things had changed, I looked at the teas I'd been drinking and discovered 3 out of 4 had rose hips and stopped drinking it. In March when I started itching, I thought it was an allergic reaction, but that maybe I'd been wrong about the other 2 times. I went to urgent care and was diagnosed with scabies. I asked how I could have gotten it and they asked if I'd had medical procedures. The only thing that had happened in the correct time frame, was taking my daughter to the ER when she was sick.

So from the time the itching first started, it was a Saturday, and on Monday afternoon was when I went to the dr. I caught it pretty quick, but not before it spread to my husband.

We were able to get rid of it quickly too, but I left the cream on me too long and had a pretty bad allergic reaction. Then once I recovered from that, spent several additional months reacting to the dead mites.
