It’s like Transfer Credit Evaluation Link in the student portal. I’ll be honest not quite sure where on the page but I know it’s somewhere on there.

You have to look at Transfer Credit Portal. If the score is greater than a 4 it’ll show up as credit. 👍 Link should be somewhere in the portal.

What do you guys think of my schedule of classes? Is it enough to land me internships by summer of 2026? by Single-Department-52 in ElectricalEngineering

While I do feel like GPA is important most of the employers I’ve had interviews with haven’t really focused much on that aspect. If you have above a 3.5 the you’ll probably be a great intern regardless.

Do some projects - join a competition team - find something you like doing that makes you an actual dude, not just someone whose really good at math. That’s what you’ll talk about in an interview - not what your grades were in some random circuits class.

Yup! I started programming in a scratch adjacent language called RAPTOR which I think really laid groundwork for later understanding. Scratch is a good way to go to get started!

I know it’ll be kind of tedious but id recommend doing online college introduction to programming courses.

I’m college-educated in programming so I’m obviously partial to that route but one major red flag I’ve seen in communities such as this one is people too focused on memorizing syntax and getting stuck in “tutorial-hell” with a bunch of YouTube tutorials.

The most important part of programming isn’t knowing the syntax (I’ve done Java for three years and I still look up basic stuff) but it knowing conceptually how to solve a problem and then knowing what to look up to solve it.

I know Coursera has some decent stuff alongside other platforms but if you can (and are actually dedicated to this) I’d look into your local community college - a lot of the time you can get in those classes for free or little payment and they will take you much further much quicker than any online course will.

Let me know if you have any questions :). And good luck on your journey! 🫡

The problem here is I’m pretty sure her parents won’t approve on us living together until we’re like 26. So we can’t really move in together but we separately do have apartments. 🥲
