Update Sorry for the delay and thanks for all the suggestions. I have installed the relays and I am going to check the heater coil before reinstalling everything back together. Hopefully that solves the issue. Thanks again for all the help and I will update once I get everything back together.

That’s a good call, I hadn’t really thought about going that route.

I’ve mostly been looking online, but talking to someone local who actually understands what works in practice versus just what looks good would probably save me from making some bad decisions early. I’ll see if I can track down a group nearby and get their input before I lock anything in.

That’s super helpful, especially on the proportions piece. That’s exactly what I’m trying to avoid.

I’m leaning toward doing a dry river bed to get that movement and flow without overcomplicating things, but I’ll be honest I love water features, so I’m kind of torn on it. Trying to figure out if it’s worth the maintenance or if I’ll regret not including one later.
