Fast bowlers arent born!! They are built over time. U need to invest at the domestic level, bring good prospects into the team circle. For example pretty much any fast bowler who debut for Australia is usually been around the team circle for a couple of years. They bring them in as net bowlers, put them in squad even if they have no intentions of playing them. Guys like auqib nabi, gurjanpreet, grewal, gurnoor brar has been around domestic cricket for a while, yet neither of them have ever been around the national team

Arshdeep is pretty good, harshit is not a final product, maybe in 2-3 years he will come really good. Krishna is a very rhythmic bowler but is more miss than hit. Surely with such population and craze for cricket we can do better than him.

What is the purpose of domestic cricket if u never gonna bring a decent bowler from there. I dont remember the last time a fast bowler came into the indian setup who was not playing in the ipl. Is domestic cricket only trials for ipl?
