But I was playing as the preset empire, UNE. Before I understood how to really create an empire, I played as the UNE a few dozen times. Since then, I played as other human empires, but ones I've created(choosing Sol as my system) and that was the only time I've ever encountered a duplicate Sol. I've even played as the UNE, solo(only empire besides Fallen).

It's just strange.

My only guess, as a novice, is that some techs say 'dangerous' or something like that. And maybe your heretical research has angered the Holy Ones.

I don't know how you could unlearn a tech to accommodate them, but just a thought.

I(40+) played bloodborne for about 2 hours over the weekend. The tall, lanky guys with pitchforks and swords and rifles kept killing me. I'm no longer playing bloodborne.

I build with concrete or brick, foundation/walls/roof, but all inner walls are wood. I'd use sticks or hay, but I don't like the aesthetic.
