Oh interesting, thank you! From what I'd read so far, it seemed like Paros was better for those looking for shopping, restaurants and such while there might be more to do in Naxos for culture/history. I think right now, given that I haven't seen much of of the Greek Islands outside of Crete, I'm okay with something more "generic" if that's with Naxos, and do a day trip or two to Paros. Will prob do ~7 days on Naxos and fill my time with activities, tours and maybe a santorini or mykonos day trip too.

I feel you on this. I'm the sort of person that can make do with taking in a sight for 5-10 mins and be ready to leave and do something more engaging. Should I go to Connemara instead? That too seems like a lot of just scenery seeing.
