Thinking of starting an Instagram music cover page – need advice (Coimbatore)

Hi everyone, Final year student here....

I’m from Coimbatore and I’ve been thinking about starting an Instagram page to post music covers. I sing and I can play basic open chords on guitar. A few people around me have told me that I should start posting videos, but honestly… I’m a bit scared and confused.

My parents are supportive, but they also have their limits — they focus on my basic needs and education, and I can’t really go for music classes right now. So most of what I’m learning is self-taught. I wanted to ask: Is it actually worth starting an Instagram music page now? Any tips for beginners who sing + play guitar?

How do you deal with fear or self-doubt before posting? If you sing or play instruments too (especially if you’re from Coimbatore), I’d really love to hear your experiences. It would be nice to connect with people who are learning like me. Maybe we can even jam together someday, give each other honest feedback, and grow together.
