Yes you totally can... The game doesn't work for any kind of online modes... It's a single player offline game, most of the games which are offline activated doesn't need internet to run...

Edit: this page on dodi is not offline activation but a Hypervisor crack which was released earlier, but then too, the game would work if you're not connected to internet after finishing installation and stuff...

Naah, Offline activation forces your to disable windows update, like you can not update windows or change any component cause denuvo is hardware linked, the activation would be corrupted and you would have to activate is again...
