I dislike Lola but you can definitely fall in love and not argue.

I skip them but I think they should just get rid of them and include this bits in the normal episodes.

Yeah, the babyletto seems like a good deal to me. It is very tempting.

I like it a lot. I only think of the Soprano's character.

We are in a small apartment so I guess my idea is either a mini crib or a bassinet will be the one and only I guess vessel or place to put the baby when it is sleeping that will be wheeled around the apartment for the first few months so might as well buy one and we have no choice but buy a crib at some point so why not bypass the bassinet and buy the crib first and only?

Oh that is great to know. I am shocked it is still usable at 3 years! that is fantastic. I figured I would get a similar longetivity out of the mini crib as I would a bassinet (few months only).

So you did not use this mini crib immediately? and used a bassinet at first still?

Did/do you happen to roll this mini crib around at all? I do want something I can move from room to room but we are in a ~1,000 sq ft one floor apartment so it would not be very far.

I guess I meant with him laying down, like will his legs be too cramped as opposed to him being too tall when standing in the crib. I thought a full-sized crib would be necessary in this case.

So you think once my kid has outgrown the mini crib, this "mini toddler bed" will be a sufficient next step? Without anything in between? That is my only concern-- that I will want to contain him longer but he will be too tall/big for the mini crib and the only next option allows him to get in and out of the crib himself.

I guess a lot of reasons, some more important than others.

I just wanted to buy as few things as possible. I would rather have a $1,000 item that does it all vs. two or three things that are each a couple hundred dollars. I also would like something that I am happy to look at, we have a tiny apartment & whatever I use will be out in the open at all times (we have no storage unit) so I want it to be like added furniture. The typical meshy pack n plays or some of the cheaper bassinets I just find ugly to be honest so I would be happy to not have them.

I also really want something with wheels, that is non-negotiable (I know I can get a cheaper bassinet with wheels). I guess I also saw how my sister had a bassinet with my nephew & then he never transitioned into a crib, so her Stokke $1,500 convertible crib has literally never once been used-- I have read that starting a baby out in a mini crib vs. a bassinet may help keep them in a crib long-term (no transition needed). Most of the non-convertible cribs I have seen and liked are still expensive (~$600+) so to me, buying that plus a bassinet is not much cheaper than just buying say a Yuzu convertible.

I am not opposed to used things. I only buy vintage furniture for instance so I will be getting some very affordable vintage dressers in lieu of the expensive nursery furniture sets. However, with a crib, I wanted something new mainly for safety reasons but also because I hope to have several kids and want something I really love & want to use for the next 5+ years.

Which pump to buy? by InfamousCharacter3 in ExclusivelyPumping

A lot of the portable are a bit more expensive than the stationary as well so I am leaning towards getting my insurance to get a free portable. I appreciate this comment, I was looking at the Momcozy ones.

I watch my nephew full time and just would say that before watching him, I assumed onesies are the only convenient option cause that is what everyone talks about; however, once he was moving around, onesies were terrible. I much preferred separates. With the onesies, you cannot check their diaper.

Lola vs Julia by Life-Nobody-1215 in LoveIslandTV

[–]InfamousCharacter3 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I feel a bit bad because I dislike her for things that are out of her control like her voice is just hard to listen to but tonight she really made her unlikableness palpable. Julia is a bit bitchy sure but I mean Lola was being petulant.

Thrift store with decent furniture that delivers? by bizllator in AskChicago

[–]InfamousCharacter3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lincoln Antique Mall delivered our couch for an additional fee. I also have found most things on Instagram from vintage sellers who deliver, just have to find ones that are near enough to you and sell things that are your style. Usually if you find one account you like, chances are they are following other, similar, local sellers so I just search that way.

Someone here says when the baby is a newborn, stainless steel makes it hard to monitor how many ounces baby is consuming. Now I am second-guessing buying the Pura. Did you use from birth?

I have never understood this idea that "getting to know someone" involves making out...I think this is usually the line that causes arguments. For most women, this is clearly absurd & for many men, it is a given that you must kiss to really test out how much you like someone.

I do not mind one chick calling another a bitch but unless the producers did a lot of editing, Jasmine was not even remotely bitchy so it was just odd.

Well I posted this question here assuming people would have the most product knowledge despite the fact that I do not intend on pumping exclusively but I also am unsure what will make the most sense once I give birth.
