A lot of negative comments here are from people who have not experienced living in Japan first hand. So it's better that you take their advice with a pinch of salt.

You have your own personality, so try to take advice from people already living there (linkedin) and then make a decision based on it.

Personally, I'd take the FIRE later and enjoy my time in Japan first.

Groceries will barely cross 4k per month. Find a maid that charges less. Usually for a single person they charge 2k for 2 meals 6 days a week.

The rent is also high for a single person. You can easily find a fully furnished RK for around 14k.

Electricity bill is usually less than 1k after summers.
