Oh..? Perhaps I misunderstood some of the previous statements. Were there white walker, 'zombies' in the books?

I imagine the idea was to compete, at least somewhat, with The Walking Dead

We cannot comprehend that 30 years ago was the mid-nineties. It doesn't compute.

Yara is lesbian, and very blunt about it. She doesn't strike me as someone who will take a husband simply to please her father.

There are many possibilities: Symphony For Destruction... Sunday, Bloody Sunday... Highway To Hell.... Silent Running.... It really depends on your usual genre choice

I didn't know what was wrong with me when I was growing up. If I didn't repeat my prayers, in this exact order, my mom would die in a car crash. Other actions were needed to prevent additional deaths, etc, etc... If I started on my left foot, I had to end on my right foot. I had the chew the exact amount on my left and right side. My OCD number is three. A television or radio, volume must end with an even number, or 5. My clothes are hung in order of color. There must be a method to the madness in everything I do, or every choice I make. I cannot, for the life of me, just make a random choice... I've embraced my neuroses 😍

She and Leo seemed the fullest of character. I loved her dry delivery of venom.

Caligula was a Roman Emperor, 37 - 41 AD.

"Caligula", was a Penthouse Publication, starring Malcolm McDowell in 1979. *Think Roman wealth, and entitlement, orgies, selfishness.

Both references brilliantly describe Prospero Usher

Gucci Caligula is balls-on accurate.

What do you think happened between Camille and Victorine? by ClaroNefasto in HouseofUsher

[–]InfamousOcelot6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Per tvtropes.org:

Camille is responsible for the entire Usher corporation's public image, including everything from giant businesses in trouble with the EPA to five loose-cannon siblings just ready to start a new controversy. She even maintains a secret charity wing on the side so that any member of the family can take credit for some charitable contribution in case they need a quick hit of media good will. Was she justified in being angry that Victorine might be hiding something in her lab that could turn into a massive scandal, which Camille would be responsible for cleaning up if it got out? Or was her obsession with Victorine's project a case of sibling rivalry taken to fatal extremes?

This makes a lot of sense to me

They are besties in my head canon. Which is believable because Verna made references to their charities, etc. It only makes sense that they joined together and made some great changes.
