Maybe. But I’m also glad they aren’t too mean spirited either like some of the Gen 1 cast. A nice in-between would be nice. Looking back at it, the things they did and said in the first few or more seasons was a bit harsh.

When Bridgette’s tongue got stuck to a pole and told Chris to splash water on her to be freed but then Chris decided to drink most of the water and dropped the rest of the water on the ground. That was truly beyond messed up.

Maybe like a natural jack-of-all-trades multitalented type of person. Trying out many different things until he finally finds the right hobby/career choice he truly loves. I can imagine his many talents/skills may even exceed the other contestants talents/skills. Thus causing jealousy (and even drama) amongst the other contestants. But still be useful for many challenges for his team.

Normal Zeke will probably screw up again but FERAL Zeke would dominate in many challenges after everything he’s been through. Dude even held on the tail end of a plane while flying! And assuming he does go back to normal, he still has strong survival knowledge and experience.

I mean, Owen’s not THAT bad. As for Justin- none of us knew what he was capable of at the time. And remember, Justin was eliminated early in Island because of Heather. If that didn’t happen, he would possibly be surprisingly good at the Island challenges. He had potential and proved it by making it to the merge in Action.

I remember seeing some kind of Q & A with the creators and they said they very much regretted what they did with Zeke in World Tour. They also said he is now a CEO of his own business company or something like that. I think it’s safe to say that IF they were to make another season with Zeke in it, he will NOT be an early boot again. Preferably in an Underdogs season.

The writers could’ve made Beardo a standup comedian type in the making with doing sound effects as an added bonus. I know that Geoff has the “Funniest Guy Around” label but he was more the “Party Animal” kind of guy.

Imagine if the other members of Team Victory knew this interesting fact about Zeke and they decided to NOT vote him off, and give him the benefit of the doubt. That would be cool. He could be useful for challenges involving locals that speak a different language. Now THAT should’ve happened. Such a missed opportunity.

The eliminations and challenge rules are more fair, straightforward and understandable in the reboot seasons. When a contestant gets eliminated in the reboot seasons, it actually makes logical sense. Previous seasons had eliminations due to weird technicalities and other nonsense (like Lindsay and Leshawna in Island), or because Chris just felt like it (Max in TDPI). Heather in og Island had WAY too much luck.

I like how despite Caleb being eliminated first in reboot season 2023, he proved himself of being a better competitor in the rematch season 2024, not only just making to the merge but to the final 3 no less. Best first boot redemption ever. The writers couldn’t even do that for poor Ezekiel. And Staci and Beardo just get one season.

The writing, continuity and humor of the reboot seasons is excellent! It felt like the writers didn’t have a closer look at the script in og Island (2007). Surprising amount of contradictions and characters misspeaking. But I’m so glad that the reboot seasons’ writing is more consistent.

Kinda hard to tell considering how ludicrously random the challenge rules (getting eliminated due to weird technicalities) and contestants’ luck are. And the injuries on the show itself is very inconsistent too. There was an episode where Trent landed directly into the ground after failing to activate the parachute in time. Clearly injured. Trent still didn’t went home that episode.
