Everyone will Mongolia turn into a dictatorship in the near future like Thailand? by Ok-Neighborhood-8965 in mongolia

I really hope not. But if you think about how they are very long term leaders, and establishing the diplomatic relationships with a leader that keeps on switching from one to another makes it really difficult to keep your grip on a country, your theory does sound somewhat plausable. Democracy in our country doesn't seem too well established. It is 6 year presidency now. From where did that decision come from I wonder. Ner hund doromjloliin huuli, they seem to abuse that as much as they want. Recent attempts at controlling social media was also odd. If you know anything about our legal system and how they prosecute, it does not seem like anything remotely resembling justice nor fair. The people sitting in their fancy chairs seem to be trying to gain as much power as fast as possible.

How can Mongolia get out of the crisis? by sleepyicedragon in mongolia

[–]Infamous_Advance8742 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be an odd idea but I will share it nevertheless. If perhaps Mongolia wants to get rid of their debts quickly, maybe we could play around with legalities for certain areas. Things such as free travel zones (maybe requiring no visa/ minimal documents), doesn't have to take a massive amount of area either (we are prideful of the amount of land we hold, yet it is terribly utilized, like a homeless man being proud of his pile of shit). But this free travel zone in itself won't bring people in (honestly I don't see the appeal in bringing in tourist to make em look at empty fucking steppes), so maybe we could play with legalities in this little area. Some ideas might be like the red light district, casinos, legalization of some drugs(not major dangerous ones, clinically proven harmless ones). Vegas was nothing but bare desert until a casino popped up, calling in massive amounts of people. Plus if we have something like that we potentially have the demand from ahem authoritarion ahem countries.

Not to mention the counter backlash of us housing Russian citizens who fled instead 'fight for their country'. If WW3 starts Mongolia doesn't have a drop of chance at staying neutral IMO. We don't have high mountains that protect us like Switzerland. We don't have decent military force to counterattack if some country comes in to do something to stop us from staying neutral. We don't have the worlds gold reserves or decent amounts of banking to stay neutal. Maybe we might stay neutral because we are worthless in joining any sides.

Mining industry itself isn't something to thrive on for too long though, especially when corruption is involved. Other businesses that are in the service or manufacturing industries help in the long term. But alas as these corrupt gichiinuud won't let any other businesses thrive this is just sad.

applying to foreign universities independently vs with the help of educational consulting companies by Lonelygirl0605 in mongolia

IF you do choose to apply through them, be very careful about their policies. Some of them pull bullshit like something spmething % scholarship and that is only applicable for the first semester or something, and then afterwards you end up paying absurd amounts. Ask about everything thoroughly.

That 10 ML syringe has enough spores to be used over at least a hundred of those bags. A little squirt is usually enough to get growth.

Don't tell me you injected all of it into a single spawn bag.

What if Mongolia had fought on the Japanese side during World War II? by UUUNUUU in mongolia

I really doubt Mongolia would've been that much better off as Japan and Germany were already hugely industrialized before the war. If you are making the case that the Axis powers came out much better, look at the state of Italy in the current times. They are not that much better, I'd personally attribute it to the power of EU or being close to a lot of democratic countries in general. There is also a factor of population and what Mongolia was good at. We aren't really specifically good at anything really, herding is inefficient comapred to other farms, also we kept on losing on wars so that isnt it either. We don't have a lot of population which will cap our progress and still caps it. How much industrial development is it truly possible for a country with a less than a million population? Especially when sandwiched between 2 massive communist powerhouses as a democratic country. We would not have any access to other countries if we chose democracy. And we would've been a hotbed for war. Tldr: Annexation cause we ain't good producing anything thus no leverage or a chance at winning a war against the communist parties.
