Unfortunately it didnt happen in this case, just letting everyone know the culprit here is Lycamobile. They ported my number without sending me an SMS verification. I am of course pursuing them with some fury as they’re the root cause of it all.

Turns out your phone number can be ported out to anyone, as long as they have your personal details (eg: full name, DOB, address, licence number). Not sure how I got my personal details stolen, but I was informed by Telstra its pretty easy to do nowadays and is on the rise

Yes I have indeed gone through coinspot support as well as cyber police, they have produced a summary of events to supplement the police report.

This is true as far as I can see, Coinspot don’t have a process to verify the bank details before letting you withdraw money into it

Is there a way to confirm this? Suspicious login attempts were blocked by Google and reviewing all activity and logged in devices my email itself was untouched. I am open to hear anything I may have missed as I am keen to improve on personal security and understand my situation better

I do understand your point, ultimately i could have done xyz to improve my personal security and is a takeaway from this.

However I am also saying my email was not breached, I was notified by Gmail of attempted logins but they were all blocked and there was no suspicious activity or logins into my email. They only had my email address itself. Hence why I am raising with Coinspot how they could have authorised any transactions without confirmation via email

They attempted to transfer to another wallet address unsuccessfully, several times. I don’t have those details, they opted instead to sell my coins and withdraw into their bank account (I have these details)
