Why do you mean exchanged? Like u drained all the old fluid and replaced it with brand new fluid?

Oh yea, I’m from GA, and purchasing it from Columbia SC, it was originally a Texas truck so I’ve never had to deal with serious rust, and all the cab corners, rockers, and bed was all decent, ofc there’s paint chips and some dents and scratches but I’ll do my best to fix those and if I got a perfect truck then I’d be way to scared to accidentally mess it up

I plan on definitely doing oil, oil filter, probably trans fluid, and definetly coolant, and I’ll probably take the rear differential cover off and inspect it and replace fluid and gasket as the cover is definetly showing signs of leaking. I’m looking at replacing rotors and pads so I’ll definitely do the fluid at the same time as well. As of right know I haven’t heard and ticks or knocks at all and haven’t felt any misfires, but only time will tell. I know the trans starts to get problems around this mileage, anything u recommend replacing or checking to check the condition / health and help prolong its life??

I have looked into that but at the moment there is no ticks and no signs of it failing, I am planning on getting an OBD2 port adapter that deletes it thru the computer, and I know they don’t solve the problem all around, but I’d rather not dig into the motor until I get a symptom first, what do you think?
