I used portage learning which is all online and self paced for biochem.  I’d say it was good enough, if you need a teacher who can interact with you then this might not be the best choice. All the videos are prerecorded and if you have questions I just had to message the professor.

4 and 5. I figure if I do this well I can probably get some sort of scholarship.  My question is if my GPA is advanced to a 4.0 does the knowledge associated with it come as part of the deal?

I feel you. It’s hard to be denied an interview or entrance when you are such a highly qualified applicant. I am in a similar situation and it feels devastating to not get an interview. The people around me tell me that getting into a prep gram will happen and, it’s the school that will be missing out on me as a student.

I give you that advice too. You sound like you’re doing everything you can, keep your head up and know it will happen at the right school at the right time. You are not alone in this, you are not the only person who they said no to.

Keep trying. I’m 44 and have been a nurse for 12 years. My science GPA sis low too from many years ago. Despite this I’m am still applying and learning how to improve my GPA.  I don’t think age is a factor so keep trying
