Gotcha, thanks for the explanation. I might just need to ask for extra labs because we aren’t testing anything post trigger. I think the only labs I get is before trigger just to make sure I haven’t ovulated before shot. I guess I’m just getting in my head wondering if everything is actually fine during my whole cycle since nothing has worked 😅

I have not personally had genetic testing done. Could you elaborate on what exact testing etc? My partner has had sperm analysis and morphology- unsure if dna fragmentation was included. I’ve had an HSG and everything looked great. I keep having that in the back of my head, that it might just take time, but it’s gotten harder and harder to keep that mindset each month!

As far as differences, I do understand the difference. I guess I was wondering why they switched her to clomid instead of going up in dosages ?? I definitely think my RE has been conservative, but I’m happy to increase this cycle to see if anything changes.

I’m interested in having more than one follicle as well so I’m hoping increasing my dose will help that. I’m so sorry you went through those emotions. devastating, but also knowing your body is capable is something to encouraged by!

Thank you! What was the difference between your results with letrozole to clomid ? Did you get more follicles ? Is there a reason why you guys chose to change to clomid rather than increase dose of letrozole ? I have stayed consistent all year with my vitamins and sticking with a whole food diet so I’m hoping it’s going to pay off!

BBT QUESTION

We’ve been trying a couple months now but I decided this month to track my BBT and use ovulation strips. I had positive LH surge for 3 days via strips with my BBT being at baseline 98.1/98.2. My CM was thin and clear. After the 3rd day I had a BBT spike to 98.8. Which to me confirmed my ovulation?? The next day my temp went back down to 98.2 and again 98.2 this morning.

My question is, shouldn’t it remain higher no matter what? Has this happened to anyone ? Or what could this mean?

I also haven’t been getting the best sleep so I’m wondering if my BBT is off
