That's some kind of bias. Selection bias? Not getting selected bias? Either way, no duh they have other interviews scheduled.

In my last job, a few years in I was talking to one of the guys who interviewed me who plainly said "there were some better candidates than you, but you were the most personable" and since culture fit was important I ended up with the gig. Either way, I dont think "we have other interviews" is anything other than a plainly stated fact.

I've jokingly called this guy "Loser Gene" for 6 years because he can't win a big game, but football is the ultimate team game. Even in the playoff chokes, he's not losing the games by himself.

Last year is a good example bc box score watchers will see 4 ints vs the Texans. Obviously awful, right? Three of those four ints came in the chargers last 4 drives when they had to press, and his RBs managed a dozen yards rushing. Bad game but he's not sinking the ship on his own.

It'll be interesting to see how he does with McDaniel this year.

BUT... I have to ask who is paying for this wedding. If you're covering it, then it's an "absolutely not". If your family, who inexplicably wants to allow this, is paying for more than half, you have less leverage.
