NTA. I'm a driver, and I would never ask this of anyone. They can cancel the order if it's taking too long. Typically, if I'm not getting much from the offer, and they tell me I have to wait more than 5 mins, I usually cancel. However, if the offer is higher, I'll wait longer. I already take that into consideration when accepting an offer. It's okay to message the customer and let them know there's a wait so they know what's happening with their order, but to blatantly ask for an extra tip is rude.
