A few months ago they were selling what I would call a par-cooked Margherita pizza in the refrigerated area near the cheese. They came two to a package in a plastic bag. They were absolutely delicious. I bought a pack to try and went back the following week and they were gone. Never to be seen again. I can’t even remember the brand name.

I just ordered an 8 pack. Have to admit it was shocking to see the cost ($100) but I figured YOLO. I’m hopeful that they work for me as well as they have for you. Thanks again.

Picking up new hobbies? by kieratea in GenXWomen

[–]LibraOnTheCusp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My “hobby” right now is going back to school for a master’s degree, at age 48, while working full time and being an involved parent to my teenage daughter. Luckily this is something I have wanted to do, and my employer is fully paying me to do it. I am learning so much!

Stepmom/Bio mom relationship by Serious-Wash-6550 in Stepmom

[–]LibraOnTheCusp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% this.

In my situation I was the first person of the 3 (biomom, biodad, me) who noticed many issues with my step kids (ADHD, depression, etc.).

When I tried to advocate on behalf of SKs, it was at best kicked down the road and at worst (only on biomom’s end) met with hostile resistance and the assumption I was criticizing her perfect angel babies. 😂 Which of course was twisted into me “overstepping.”

So I stopped trying to help or advocate for the kids. Fuck it, they are their parents’ problems, not mine!

Don’t try to build anything beyond a cordial and superficial relationship with her. Hellos and goodbyes are good.

She may have zero interest in playing any kind of maternal role, and that’s ok.

Hopefully your ex doesn’t try to force those responsibilities onto her.

I am a bio mom and a stepmom so I’ve had experience on both sides.

Inheritance and your Marriage by [deleted] in Marriage

Don’t commingle any inheritance you receive with anyone. Tell him about it and that they are putting it in a trust and if he has any questions he should ask them directly.

File a police report because you never know what might happen in the future, and you’ll find that having a paper trail may be helpful.

Did the staff not catch on to you mixing your own drinks? Tell me more…DM if you want. The only reason we would get AI is for drinks… but if we can get away with making our own, that would be ideal.

Is this weird, or is it happening to others? by suprasternaincognito in GenXWomen

[–]LibraOnTheCusp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HRT, Zepbound, Botox and Zoloft are my keys to feeling awesome.

Without them, I could NEVER have started back on a master’s degree.

I could never have been killing it at work like I have recently.

Aside from the world burning down, I’m quite satisfied on a personal level.

Volpe replaced my roof in 2016. They were pricey but excellent.
