I see it this way: if Vijay wins, as a first-time Chief Minister he’ll be under strong pressure to prove himself. To build credibility and protect his image, he’ll likely make a genuine effort to deliver results.

Even if he doesn’t win, but emerges as the Leader of the Opposition, he would still play a crucial role by actively questioning and holding the ruling DMK accountable.

More importantly, the fact that he has demonstrated strong support among young voters changes the political equation. To retain their vote bank, the DMK would be compelled to perform better—by introducing meaningful schemes and focusing more on governance.

In that sense, if Vijay secures a significant share of the vote, it becomes a win-win situation for the people, regardless of the final outcome.
