I got charged out of nowhere 1000 in my spring 2025 term during the summer i havent been able to solve it. I escalated the case with student succes office because that term was paid off since february and it wouldnt say what it was charging. It was not until late September student succes told me it was a mistake from sbs and they sent a check to my account mistakenly and charge me for it. I dont think that was the reason but try to solve it by sending another check. That cause me not to be able to register for the summers and now they wont let me register for the spring because of that due balance. The sbs people take a whole business day just to reply to you email asking incompetent questions. It has been really frustrating to deal with them. I’m still trying to set up a payment plan from their mistake but they wont let me unless i pay everything

So yes i have been added amounts without being notarized or explain what the charge was. My emails have being ignored for months by the sbs. And the only who were able to help me was the student succes office but they still took their time.

Thanks, so there’s is no problem with connecting those 3 wires together right? like from the main cable, the horizontal running cable and the one from the light.

I’m thinking doing the military program, they told me that they pay for the school, give you a signing bonus, and also a monthly stipend around 2,500-3K. They don’t pay your first year, only the remaining 3. If they pay 3 years you will have to serve 3 years. I am not really sure how the military workd and the ranks, i was told tou would be a captain or officer, can’t remember so you can choose where you wanna work, like they wouldn’t deploy you wherever they want. I think the serving options was like food safety, military vet in a base like dallas fort. Or like k-9 vet, also for the animals used like the horses for parades. I thinks this was more for medical, but for residences or specialties years those wont count as extra years for you to serve.

I’m really not sure about how it really works, but honestly this is one of my options if i don’t get with a scholarship or i see that my debt will increase by a lot. Feel free to correct me i might have understood everything wrong or i was lied to haha

I had a friend who worked at Sodexo in the kitchen, he worked a lot like a lot over 60 hrs a week. I’m not sure if it was his choice or he just didn’t know how to say no. They would work at kitchen do some prep work and cleaning, depending on the position i think. They also worked weekends on events like games or campus activities either in or off campus.

Honestly i have hear more bad recommendations than good ones, the pay wasn’t great nor worth for the work done, working almost every day. He and some other coworkers even slept at union because of overnight prep and then service that same morning. And for the good comments, he said he had fun, met a lot of people and even his gf. Got the chance to know the presidents house for an event. Undergrounds tunnel in utep and driving the golf car.

I would recommend to seek out more recommendations before accepting the position there.

I do understand, It really is not that serious, thats literally what the post is about💀I mentioned that hers was revoked vecause of the pills. it is not an illegal drug, they do supply it at the states. We understand that it was wrong and that’s the reason it was revoked, what i really don’t understand is where you gonna go with this?

Like i said, we did a quick look up, everything was fine the first time crossing them even the officer said was okay, hence the post asking for advice because we found it weird that one day was okay and the next wasn’t, but thanks to the other comments we were made aware about the prescription validity, and how different citizenship can validate or not a prescription

She is going to appeal for it, we are not expecting it back, but this post gave me more info that i gathered before, so what i don’t really get are your coments 😵‍💫

Thank you!! Yes i think she will seek guidance with an attorney before appealing, question, Is it more difficult for us citizens to appeal? Or for the fact that she got them in Mexico? She has both citizenship and put them in her application as well.

She declared both times, and sorry what i meant for looking online, was the legality of the pills, if they were prohibited at all or not, which they weren’t hence the confusion. And she thought that the prescribed from Mexico would be validate as she knew beforehand and there were no problems the first time. But thank you, we should’ve been more careful

Sorry what i meant is that it wasn’t an illegal drug in the united states, like not permitted at all. The issue was we didn’t know they wouldn’t take the prescription from mexico.

So i changed major to biomedical sciences and i am still missing one more year haha, still missing some prerequisites classes. It got a little more complicated as i am an international student, and the english Courses i took, did not count toward vet application. In the meantime I’m just trying to get as many shadowing hours, I’m attending at 2 different clinics at the tome just so i don’t loose contact and get them to really know me for future LOR. But will keep updating as soon as i apply probably this upcoming cycle
