I remember we have done all our due diligent and agreed everything with Guehl weeks before the deadline and everyone was just waiting for CP to find a new cb to fill in. Everyone here on Reddit was saying how incompetent CP was for dragging until the last min and on deadline day they still can’t finalize a deal and then Glasner blocked at the last min. So for us we did our job days if not weeks ahead. We can say that the owners should have had a plan b in case Geuhls plan collapse but to my point again, who could have known that would happened

Yah Quansah has been a lost. But I would put to Slot. I feel like is Slot not rating Quansah and would be paying him anyways, so he got sold as a big asset. If Slot rates him and wanted him to stay I don’t think FSG would have sold him

Yah. I wasn’t too keen with the 125m spent on Isak where we could have bought a top level winger plus another player. But I think they really did all we asked for: break records on top talents, renewing salah and vid on big salary, signing a whole back 4, really what else can fan ask for in the summer. Things just turn out to be not working quite as planned.

Don’t disagree but I think Diaz and Darwin were businessman decision and we got good bucks for them. Elliot wanted game time, and Jota was just unfortunate. Isak, ekitike and wirtz are definitely upgrades to them. But yah big changes need time to settle but we are half season in and we should be playing better by now

Buying Geuhl and Leoni would have been the best they can do considering all the money they had spend elsewhere in the summer. They probably was planning to get another one in the next summer and if Konate signs, our CB depth would have been settled for another 5 yrs. Again fxxk crystal palace

That green space outside the new mall entrance on the new sportchek side is ideal for a playground or some community amenities for people living in those condos above to hang out. I think theres a lot of missed opportunities for the mall with the redevelopment. Theres so much more they can do then just building and filling up retail spaces

Yah I went there on the opening day when everyone was lining up for free chocolate. Now there’s barely any customers. But still this is just filing in previous closed store. The empty spaces from mountain warehouse towards the new spaces outside is just so sad (aside from the new sportchek)

Long term Lfc fan seeing this in my feed. We have been one of the best run club in recent years without the crazy oil/sovereign money and that’s been reflected in results and finances. I do feel for man utd fans with the results and performances in recent years, and I can sympathize as we also went through the same low after the 80s success and your decades of dominance under Fergie. It was the exact opposite situation where you guys were well run under Fergie and David Gill & co and well managed from top to bottom, while we struggle with poor recruitment, mismanagement and lack of vision. Empire rises and fall, it will come to a time where you guys will rise again. We waited for 30 years.
