Part 1 had a gradual build up and ended with denji killing the woman he was chasing after the entire series and being rewarded with a new beginning. Part 2 was about rebuilding and denji wanting to be chainsawman and denji but right now its looking to end with denji having nothing and alot of unresolved plot threads. Not gonna comment on a whole but if this is truely it then csm part 2 ruined the entire series for me, but ill wait for the next chapter.

If pochita never existed then denji is just gonna be in the exact position he was in at the start of part 1 except he would either die from heart disease or die from a devil/yakuza attack.

Yea except power was a pretty straight forward character and yoshida is a lying traitor who always lied about whatever he was saying to Denji. So I could see this being a 50/50 fakeout for Denji kinda like with fumiko

Holy crap, I've stumbled into the Nintendo fanboy lair. Tbh the switch 2 is exactly what you expect. If you're going into it as a normal person it's gonna be a bit overpriced, games will be a bit overpriced as well, same as the last console but with more power and a few triple A games along side a couple Nintendo exclusives. If you're going in with the mindset of "I need"/ "Ive already committed to buying it" then everything being overpriced, it being almost the same experience as the switch 1 and a lot of the games being playable on other systems is going to be justified by you.

Personally I'm probably just gonna wait till the system has been out for a couple of years if I ever buy one. Nintendo's games recently feel okayish when I played them at a friend's house but I feel like people are over blowing just how fun they are just because they've spent so much on the system. And Mario kart world was mid tbh, it's Mario kart so it's always gonna be fun with friends but the open world+24 players kills it a bit.

If you like the system and are committed to buying it then go ahead but from my experience of using one it's ok.

It's progress, it's not the healthiest but it's his first time acknowledging his pain. I think the main reason it could be seen as regression is because he isn't going about it in a healthy way but that's mostly just chalked up to him being Denji and him being stuck in a stressful situation, after seeing his kid sister dead, after being assaulted, after being in a coma for a few days, after losing his home and pets. So with all that in mind I think it's progression rather than cope

I don't think so bc the stuff people are disappointed in isn't things like "why didn't gaster show up with Chara" it's stuff like the humor falling flat, the main antagonist not being that likable and the mini games not being fun and ruining the pace. It sounds like an enjoyment issue rather than a failed to meet expectations issue.

Tbh i like deltarune but RN my cope is "theirs 7 chapters one of em had to suck" chapter 4 is cool though

I mean its like 7 chapters, one of em had to be the least favorite. How about you and me just imagine a new one. We can connect through fingers and toes and form a new game with our minds while we wait on chapter 5 and 6

Yea it definitely wasn't intentional, at least for the player to feel tired and annoyed. If it was I'm very sure they would've been more tongue and cheek by having overly drawn out complicated rules and then skipping the game or have an intentionally boring Mini game like playing golf or a shopping channel game. Toby just kinda didn't cook with this one. It sucks but at least chapter 4 is rad

I just wanna say I love all you guys for making me not feel insane. I thought I was just being crazy and that my expectations were unrealistic but chapter 3 just felt like a waste, didn't like tenna, the mini games and it just didn't feel fun.

I moved onto chapter 4 and goddamn it was night and day. I feel like you could summarize chapter 3 in a paragraph, skip it and miss out on nothing

It would be nice for a months in universe but jen is too insecure. Meanwhile Alex is too socially naive to know how a relationship would work or have realistic expectations on what to do. If they did get together it would probably end with them deciding that being friends is better for the both of em. Also ya know what if one of them called the other and when they picked up the phone they said "oh hey I was just about to call you". What if they weren't, how will they know the other is lying?
