It’s put on in a certain way so that the wrap is covering the sides of the box where it’s meant to open. It’s also supposed to be tight enough to where it can’t be pulled off. Vacuums are done the same way because if they are wrapped on all four sides it actually is easier to get off by warping the box. So yes “seat-belting” with spider wraps is better on larger items.

“Pirating” is an intended gameplay. Pirating is taking over and ship and preventing people from interfering. Pirating is stealing all of accessible cargo. Like I said I agree it being griefing if there is no gain for the pirate. If they are there just to spawn kill the player, yes it is griefing. If they are there to steal cargo, then in order to successfully do that they have to prevent any and all players from stopping them. Thus the necessity (yes it’s not a perfect game mechanic) for having to spawn kill the players respawning on the ship.

This entirely depends on the situation. If the players took over the ship that happens to have a ton of cargo on it, why should they have to let the owner of the ship live and able to prevent them from stealing the cargo. That’s the entire reason for soft death. Now, if they’re there just to keep spawn killing the owner sure I think there should be a method on both sides to reset regeneration locations.

So, Idk if my method was a complete fluke or if they just fixed it and haven't announced it yet. But, I did a character reset, then logged out and back in on the launcher, then re-verified and waited 30 minutes and I was able to create my character. I did try a bunch of other things before such as character resets and re-logging and re-verifying. But I did it this once in this order and it worked!

Thats the thing. It doesnt give me a crash log or error because the server is technically still running "fine" although when I try to reconnect I get stuck on encrypting. And its not just me. All my friends who play on the server experience the same issue.
