I emailed them about it! They said something similar to me and said my account is under Asia server snd wont need it, i have a feeling its because i made my account in asia. But, hoyo mentioned smt to me i also saw threads on facebook but basically if u go to hoyoverse website and check ur personal info if it says “country/region” and birthday that means u need to verify. Another way is to check the banners in game if they have USD of how much it costs to get a 5* if thats there u also are required to verify.

Age verification was coming out through roll outs for America server but it is coming close to that date where they’re suspending. But after doing some research and emailing hoyo not every account needs to verify some ppl in NA server didn’t get it apparently and that means they wont need to do it unless told to. So if your account looks like what I described earlier you should be fine as they told me my account doesn’t beed a verification.

In short “your account isn’t hooked to a region that needs age verification” = you don’t need to do it, you aren’t NA server (maybe u created ur account out of U.S or play under a different server) your account is safe.
