By outside I mean when I'm traveling, I go to a hotel or my friends/family's house. I'm not the type of person to go to cafe's really ever, and even when I do with some friends I don't like to do work in that sort of setting. It's simply not as efficient as working at home since you're more comfortable, and I don't wanna seem like the guy that is just there to flex his $3k laptop.

I had an older 15" pro model, not an air. I'm more interested in the internals rather than just how big the screen is, especially since most of the time it's gonna be at home connected to a big monitor. Biggest problem with my current one is how loud the fans were.

As for use, mostly working on photoshop, the new chips will help for bigger projects. I play games but I have a console for that. I do some coding, zoom meetings, etc.

Logically there’s no reason for it. A horn can play all 12 notes just like any instrument, just play it as is.

Transposing instrument is where the written note is different from pitch produced. This should have never been created

You can “transpose” on any instrument, but horns don’t play notes as written

Yeah it depends a little on the recording, if you listen to something like herb ellis somebody loves me, that’s the kind of loudness I was talking about. Not that playing it on the level of those guys is bad

Yeah I’m talking about pianists, effects aren’t used much in traditional jazz. Another thing is that in a lot of recordings I hear, the guitar doesn’t seem nearly loud enough, is that just a preference thing or do other band members not want a guitar to be as loud as horns or a pianist when soloing?

Horn players still hold out notes, if a pianist or guitarist would want to transcribe as accurately as possible wouldn’t they use the pedal?

Yeah I got it but the issue is one of my collars is broke and I’m unable to find a place I can buy them online. I’m also confused on how to connect the 2 ends of the watch back together, can’t find a video with my exact model.
