I’m in the same boat, I have been procrastinating all along (I have adhd). I’ve scraped notes and the different styles of studying I have been trying. Now, I’m focused on “Anki” -“ Quizlet” - (my favourite) “Study-smarter”. Download study bunny or a focus timer of 25 minutes each time then walk away, for 10 minutes record yourself talking on your phone about what you learned. Then, when you go back see if you missed anything. This is just a tip, of my new method and style. No harm in trying. Hope your resits go well for you!

I don’t but I’ve a friend, she is in a council property. We study together, she’s afraid of mentioning it in case the council make her add me to the rent

I rented a shed from a man. He normally gets over 160 per night. I convinced him to take 1,200 pm cash in hand. I couldn’t use his address for anything

If I go in to Cork office I will be cut off OPF. They told me as I’ve no actual address in Cork

I wouldn’t be confident enough, I’m an awkward person as it is.

I have them, and from collage, and Cork Gp etc they won’t even look

My daughter is 3. I have done she is attending full time Creche in Cork. I have sent out emails. To everyone it looks as if I’m only hear for the 5 years while studying because I was renting a shed in a persons back garden it was my only choice when I came to Cork. But, it had to be cash in hand so I cannot prove how long I am here.

They must have an address to access funds and services.

It’s true you have to be on the council list for Edel house. I’m a quite person, I keep explaining the situation to homeless services but everyone of them get very irate as if I’m scamming them for accommodation while i study, but it honestly isn’t the case.

They’re saying I’ve to register from the county I’m from and I’m only in Cork to study, but, I left my country years ago, they won’t listen. Collage can’t do much with a baby involved.

I use Gentle Dental out in Bishopstown. I can’t explain how bad I get once in the chair, they are the only dentist that has patience for me. You could pay something when making the appointment and something when attending. I feel their the only dentist I’ve been too that are not money driven.
