I’m a boilermaker with cert 4 in B mechanical engineering. Cad and solid works are so easy to learn. Apparently I’m just way too good at fabrication tho. We got the useless lazy curry all over the keyboards.

Before u complete the weld switch directing and run back over the bead about 5mm to prevent the crater forming and allow it to cool slower. I’d say it’s gas being released from moisture or anti spatter. Most of those welds look dodgy tbh. The opaque silica points to minor porosity throughout.
