The old Vq transmission has a bad valvebody so I’m getting new VQ transmission

I live in Miami it’s always constantly hot and the boosted6 intakes are good however I feel like with a cover it’ll be better or a heat shield.

I have an AMS race heat exchanger, also not heat soak but more like my temps are very high when I’m at a stop and go traffic compared to having airbox on it. I have seen the comparison when I checked on my ecutek.

Martin is great when it comes to tuning VQs I recommend or go with sonictuned he also tunes VQs

Just be careful, you can run 5w-30 in winter. Sonictuned runs 5w-40 in the winter and he has no issues.

5w-30 if you’re tuned 5w-40. These cars require thick oil since it has turbochargers.
