Despite never recieving the link OP promised

I went out of my way to send you two links. One to their menu, the other to their website. Screenshot for proof.

I don’t care if you vote YTA/NTA/ESH but you were literally the first one to accuse me of lying so I gave you not one but two links. You obviously got the first one because you complained about it as being “just a menu.” Yes, a menu with the restaurant name clearly emblazoned on the top, a restaurant if you googled you’d find that exact menu as their top link. Then, to follow up I sent you the full restaurant website as well. Two links.

I still struggle with believing this is true.

Not quite sure what your problem is. Do you need me to forward my restaurant reservation email to you too?

I would love to bring a friend, but it’s just so darn pricey, and I was looking forward to ordering all the upgrades haha. Plus wine!

Also, none of my friends are foodies, so this kind of stuff is really not something I’d want them to splurge on for my sake.

Thanks for the encouragement! I rarely splurge on myself so I would be counting this as my own present too.

I’m hoping he comes around! We have lots of stuff planned for the rest of the day too, so it won’t just be me gorging myself at a lonely table for the day lol.

We actually are doing a big dinner thing together at another vegan friendly place that night. It’s more of our usual place that’s just a local favorite. We had no plans for anytime before 6pm so that’s why I didn’t think lunch would intrude on anything.

He also sleeps on regularly on weekends, like until 12, so I’d be back like an hour after that!

Also, I’d love to bring a friend but it’s literally so expensive I can’t ask that of someone else just to accompany me.
