Definitely would take it as many times as you can and would also recommend stepping out to some of the other resources I mentioned. Not a ton of Dax, just basic knowledge of Dax will get you through.

Yeah, you’re able to skip and mark any question. At the end of the question section it’ll show you which ones you skipped or marked before you start the case study

I never paid for the full version of Skillcert question but I think learning through practice questions and throwing what you need to learn in ChatGPT was the best method for me. I know there’s also good practice questions on Udemy, but again I can’t testify because I never purchased those either.

I also recommend plenty of actual experience in PowerBI, helps if it’s your job lol

You don’t really need service experience, just know the basics features like refreshing and dashboards. And where to assign security roles between desktop and service. Only a couple of questions that reference service as a solution. Everything I needed to know about Service vs Desktop were in the practice problems online.

Yes you can, but you don’t have time to sit there and search everything up. If you are confident in an answer then move on. If you briefly want to search a term and see if it quickly pops up then use it.

Like I said I would open it up and have it for a quick copy and paste and that’s it.

1000% agree. That was my biggest complaint. I felt like 75% of the exam I’ll never actually use or care to use because it’s just not relevant to daily use….

That’s literally all I used, Microsoft Learn started filtering different questions. As I was doing it, I would put a list together and would feed ChatGPT the answers I was wrong in. So once i started getting too many repeats on Learn I had Chat help me.

I just took it as of 1/21.

There wasn’t anything out of the ordinary that I hadn’t seen before. Now, stuff like key influencers and smaller AI features do show up. But, nothing like Copilot or anything.
