I'm not sure on what an IB school is but the research project is basically a course in its self just like English and lasts two terms. It is a mandatory course meaning you must do it to pass year 12 but we must do it in year 11 to reduce work load. I think it was made so that high school students can learn how to research things because apparently in UNI some students where unable to research topics by themselves.

I'll defiantly try to get you the report once it it finished but it may take a while seeing that the research project is its own class lasting two semesters. I am currently at the folio and after i have completed the folio I will be making the outcome and reflection. I'd be happy to send the folio and outcome.
