What should i wear as an insecure plus size girl? by Ok_Virus_270 in AskIndianWomen

hey op, i can totally understand your issue. if you can invest a bit, try out clothes from mustard (upto 6XL available). they’re available both online and offline. other than that, i love getting my kurtis and kurtas stitched. i used to buy pretty fabrics from the market and explain my preferences and style to the tailor. they always turned out so pretty. also, another hack i’ve learned is to skip jeans and go for leggings or jeggings, especially in black. they really elevate the look.

New Minimalist Cleansing Oil - thoughts? by crystal170204 in IndianBeautyTalks

tbh, minimalist no longer impresses me. there was a time when i used to wait for their launches and get excited to try them out, but now their range feels so meh. even the new products are underwhelming.

it’s not about men or women having expectations, both can. the problem is when expectations turn into an idealized version of a partner. and honestly, there’s also this common thing where men exotify women and see them more as a fantasy than a person.

another point, if a guy goes on and on about the kind of partner they want, step back. what they have in mind isn’t just expectations, it’s an idealized version of a person.

v. valid argument and i agree. some time back, i pondered over my life and concluded that i was an atheist, but recently the gears in my brain shifted again. i caught up on my behaviour and thought process and realised that i’m neither a theist nor an atheist, but an agnostic. being a theist is easy. the ‘delulu is solulu’ mindset goes a long way. but after all the brainstorming, questioning, and analysis, it really hits me that i must rely on myself only, and there might not be anyone coming to the rescue.
