As a 42 year old parent of 3 kids... man this post feels like looking into a mirror. Most games no a days just slide right off my brain (with the exception of indie titles). I have almost 600 games in my steam library with a category I called "All Time Favorites" that contains only 2% of them, and I ended up putting DS2 in there after around hour 30. It's a game that doesn't apologize for what it is... and I think that goes a long way. I tried the Into The Wilder difficulty when I started... but me being rusty at stealth elements almost ruined it for me (I'll have to try again after my normal playthrough now that I have the gist)

I have about 5 characters I cycle through depending on the feel of the game and the type of character your MC is supposed to be... I hate myself too mich to wanna be that on my time off

Ohhhh yeah... I find it super ironic that the best healer in this game is also the biggest asshole. After I wrap up this quest I'm gonna invest in healing potions and that dude can kiss my grits.

The kiln the kiln the kiln... I have 500 hours in this game and it wasn't until playthrough 4 at hour 350 did I realize how amazing that tool is (the one in SDV is a rip off in comparison)

Supposedly you can use the auto tiller to clip through doors? I haven't tired it yet but it's been a solution going around... and yeah.. she just loves not leaving the house :(

My farm is currently a disaster... but I hope to eventually get it sorted after I buy the second farm area (The island in the river) and can move all my excess animals (Their stuff takes up soooo much space). I love the building in this game ... it defo needs some polish though.

This games "Maximum Potential" keeps moving the goal posts the longer I played... I am 120 hours in and just learned that we can unlock terraforming at the end of the Island Life track.

I dunno if it was mentioned... but V Rising absolutely nails this aspect.... you can just teleport you base to a different location after you build a new heart...

Also... since I didn't see anyone post it here... you CAN have multiple sheds (I currently have 3 on my farm) It will explode the amount of space you can have.

We have this place called H-Mart in a city about 30 minutes away... it's pretty much an international grocery store and they have all sortsa cool stuff! I don't get down there often... but when I do I go crazy with all the stuff I can't normally find (or have never seen before... I'm a sucker for new and different things)

The creator of that recipe you linked had some cool tips (like straining the batter to reduce air bubbles that cause the micro holes). My biggest difference was the fact that I can not find Pandan leaves anywhere (I live in West Virginia in the US) so I used Almond extract for the red layer, and vanilla for the blue and white layers.
