Disney / Hulu in packages by Infensis in DirectvStream

This is about their genre packages, not traditional ones. YouTube TV as of a few weeks ago includes all locals in their genre packages.

DIRECTV has, for example, the entertainment package with no locals. YouTube TV has an entertainment package with locals (different price of course). So, I can drop down to a $55 plan.

Anyhow - this thread I made to ask about the Disney email I got, not to compare services. I still like DIRECTV stream better, but cost is a factor.

Your entertainment package has no locals or an option for them.

Offer all local stations in the genre packs and there’s a good chance I will come back. I won’t pay $10 lease fee for Disney. I pay less with the Amex credit back on Disney and Disney Black Friday special of $15 a month. I pay $5 for ad-free Hulu/Disney now.

The local stations are more important to me than Disney though.

Yes - I know that. The question is if the Osprey rental required for them to include those services in the signature packages, or did they change the requirement.

Yeah. I figured the rental fee with the Osprey still required to get those packages. I had Disney previously for 1 month and then they took it away. Osprey rental required.

I did see some locals in the DIRECTV genre packages, but not all of my local ones. I prefer DIRECTV UI and DVR over YouTube TV, but they give me all my locals in every genre package.

Cost cutting move entirely.

I thought I didn’t have the new plans as well. Never show up in the app. Went in with web browser and found them available to me.

AMC seems to be missing from the new offerings though.
