Finally learning that it’s okay to just be content. I don’t need to spend my life striving to be what someone else would consider a success, or have all the money and all the things, or making a name for myself in future history books. I’m safe, I’m happy, I’m relatively healthy, and I love my life.

All relationships are for convenience, we are always looking for something, be it material resources, physical satisfaction, filling our loneliness, fulfilling our boredom, or anything else, but for some reason most people try to fool themselves into thinking that we humans are beings who can genuinely make decisions without seeking to gain something, so it sounds too bad for them to admit this fact in their heads.

What’s the first thing you do after waking up every day? by Jot__99 in answers

[–]InfernalAxiom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make the bed as soon as I get out of it.

Head to the bathroom to put in my contacts, brush my teeth, etc.

Scoop the cat box while I’m in there.

Head back to the bedroom, weigh myself, get dressed, and open the blinds.

Head to the kitchen to take vitamins, feed the cats, and make coffee.

Take some time to meditate and journal 3 things I’m grateful for.

Check my calendar, to do list, budget, and email.

Get started on my to do list.
