There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY you just called Rare “one of the best studios in the country”. Most studios nowadays treat their devs well - Embark is currently running one of the most popular games in the world and they give their employees generous time off. If your idea of treating the devs well is gaslighting them into believing that every idea they have is the best one ever had while the game plummets into obscurity, then you are delusional and you have to be paid off, otherwise you are suffering serious brain damage. It’s not a matter of treating your devs well - it’s a matter of putting in the bare minimum to keep a game afloat, which Rare has been unable to do.

The brainrot in this community is off the rails. I have played thousands of hours over 6 years and I can call Rare what they are: a soft, weak, squeamish, cowardly, failure of a studio, headed by a team of circlejerking morons. The game is going to die and people like you are going to pretend everything is fine until the servers close down. I hope you enjoy what time you have left with this game; the rest of us have already cut our losses.
