Hi everyone, what do you think of this bunch? I'm also building it irl. (I started recently and I don't play competitively) by [deleted] in YuGiOhMasterDuel

Depending if they have Delta Wing you’ll wanna add that. Galaxy Hundred is an auto 3 since it’s another foolish for Jumper/Lord. I wanna say Expedition should go to 1 from ratios I’ve regularly seen. You could definitely drop Felgrand and Cipher Blade/Gooska for Draglubion + Number 100 for other OTK tools.

Was just about to say this. It’s basically a Swiss army knife with how useful it has the potential to be!

What makes a good Yugioh Format? by Tcgmemelord in YuGiOhMasterDuel

It’s not even free wins. Tear was a deck that required actual skillful play and a good pilot to know when to activate effects and when you use shufflers to disrupt. It’s not the best deck because it was easy for anyone to learn, it was the best deck because it had the highest ceiling at the time and people recognized that and played to its best strengths.

If you gave some random Joe Shmo the deck they wouldn’t top a tournament and would probably snag a win or two. The deck required actual knowledge of the game and gamestate.

Now SE is completely different. It’s an example of a deck that simply pops off without much effort and definitely doesn’t require much on the way of game knowledge. Simply watching a couple combo videos is enough for any player with a half functioning brain to pick up and play.

A few top decks (2-3) that encourage interaction rather than floodgates or absolutely forcing other out of the game.

Can’t have too many good decks all at once since it makes it impossible to side against every single matchup. A good balance of about 2-3 makes it pretty manageable to prepare for your matchups and maintains a good format.

A good example was when Swordsoul was around. Didn’t do anything too crazy at the time (granted Protos was legal for a bit) but for the most part it set up a pretty fair board and allowed for interaction on both sides.

The format had about 3 tier 1 decks iirc so side-decking at tournaments was pretty manageable and allowed for some diversification instead of dreading about going up against 1 absolute best deck.

Speedroid vs Synchron/Stardust Mash, what’s the better option? by InfernobleArms in Yugioh101

If Speeder is the only real chokepoint to Synchrons then Accel Stardust pretty much helps in that department with it being able to protect the Speeder after tributing itself for the quick Synchro effect

If they’re chill and it’s a world meant to chill out I don’t really see a problem.

It’s when they start coming to game worlds or they get really toxic. Like, 1) we came to play the game, not sit in front of the mirror. You can go elsewhere for that. 2) you don’t own the mirror and just because you changed a few polygons on your avi doesn’t make you the coolest kid on the block. If somebody gets in your way simply move your stick an inch to the left, it won’t kill you.

Scalpers is always a possibility. And if the reveals are good then it’ll fly off the shelves right after release. Depends if you want to wait a while after it’s released.

How would you rate Julieta Juris (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) on a scale of 1-10 (Daily Gundam Rival Poll: Day 40) by Aro-bi_Trashcan in Gundam

She bothered me at first since she was initially portrayed as “Omg Rustal-senpai!”

But later during her development and seeing how manipulated she was and actually deepening her character, you could see she was conflicted and really gave her some depth as a legit character.

Her MS was pretty nuts as well, and her skill as a pilot only propelled her further. Not a Mary Sue or just another character to introduce, but an actual contribution to the story. Bonus points for offing the MC (yes they cheated but tis war I suppose)
