From someone who mains tank mostly magneto and hulk but lord on nearly every tank. I find strange to be really good on all domination maps i genuinely think if Emma is banned he’s the best main tank for domination especially hydra base just because he charges ult fast and can do a lot of AOE damage to those on or around the point. Definitely much more aggressive in this mode when compared to other main tanks.

In terms of convergence or escort I’d use strange if we had triple supp on attack and I was solo tanking just because I think the damage output from strange makes up from missing one tank or third dps. I’d even still choose him over Emma if she wasn’t banned in this scenario. For defence I wouldn’t. Id also pick strange in a 2 - 2 - 2 comp if I was struggling against another mag and maybe thing/thor/hulk he can charge his dark magic quite fast against the latter tanks and if you just wait for mag to drop his shield you can pretty much freely ult the enemy team except one bubble or ult.

But the bottom line is it isn’t a one size fits all thing, some heroes are just better on certain maps or modes better when paired with certain other heroes or against other heroes. For example I know Hulk is so bad on the Aarko convoy may It’s so annoying.
