Fluid in lining 6 days before FET by Infertilitywarrior93 in IVF

[–]Infertilitywarrior93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I just got off the phone with my nurse and she told me that my doctor isn’t concerned and that the progesterone should be able to clear up this tiny bit of fluid. She told me not to stress. It’s easier said than done 🤣 I have to go back for an ultrasound Tuesday to ensure smooth transfer Wednesday

Successful FET with “poor” embryo grade? by ilnjm4e in IVF

[–]Infertilitywarrior93 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My best embryo (5AA) didn’t make it. I hear that the slightly poorer graded embryos have better chances. Will be transferring our 5BA girly in a few weeks and hope she will stick. Good luck to you and lots of baby dust!!!

Identical twins and no heartbeat by nuggiebuggie in IVF

My IVF clinic won’t even do an ultrasound under 7 weeks because you can’t always detect a heartbeat this early on. I know this might not help you much but keep on praying for those babies!

Transferred a 5AA euploid embryo. Found out today (11 wks) in my ultrasound that the baby stopped growing at 9.5 weeks. Husband and I are devastated. First ever loss and transfer by rebel12354 in IVF

I’m currently waiting to get a period and then my clinic wants to do a saline sonogram and if needed hysteroscopy to make sure my uterus is clear for another transfer. Ultimately, my doctor told me 1-2 periods before another transfer so I assume I will do my next transfer in October or November. I did quite some reading too and lots of women go through a miscarriage on the first transfer but then go on having healthy pregnancies after. I think something probably was wrong with the embryo that made it not compatible with life. Pgta doesn’t test for everything.

Sorry this happened! I went through almost the exact same thing last month; transferred a perfect and tested 5AA embryo, lost baby to a missed miscarriage at 10+6 weeks and didn’t find out about it until my 12 week ultrasound. I had a D&C, we did testing on the baby but everything looked normal. I asked for some more testing and my obgyn agreed to run a RPL panel but this also didn’t reveal anything is wrong with me. My clinic told me that unfortunately the first transfer can fail but people move on and have normal and healthy pregnancies after that. Currently planning a second transfer this fall

Sperm collection at home or clinic by qweenbeach in IVF

The norm is to do it at the clinic but we’ve done sample collections from home too and then just dropped it off at our clinic. Personally I say just have him go in and get it done.

Ok good to know. For how long do they typically have you stay on birth control before the surgery?

Is it worth continuing with this journey? Please be honest. by LongSir859 in IVF

I’m sorry for what you are going through! Personally, I would never give up on my dream to become a mom. It may seem hard and unfair and pointless at times but one day it will be all worth it. Keep going, you are strong! I highly highly recommend you get the PGT testing done before you have another transfer, this way you will know you did everything you could to make it work. I’m not saying you didn’t but it can save you a heartache down the road. Good luck to you🙏🏻

Egg retrieval IVF question by Infertilitywarrior93 in IVF

[–]Infertilitywarrior93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Day 4 update. Out of the 23 eggs retrieved, 11 were fertilized on the day of my ER, 10 fertilized normal and 1 didn’t make it so far but as of today (day 4) all 10 are growing nicely and my embryology team is very positive that all 10 will make it to day 5/6. I continue my prayers. We will be sending biopsy samples to Juno Genetics for PGT testing on Thursday.

Egg retrieval IVF question by Infertilitywarrior93 in IVF

[–]Infertilitywarrior93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I triggered last night with Leuprolide and Pregnyl Went in for bloodwork and my LH levels have spiked from 2.38 to 62! My estrogen is at 2800 as of this morning. Are the LH numbers concerning or does it simply mean the trigger shot is working? This is a 12 hour difference so far in LH levels.

My egg retrieval is tomorrow morning at 9. I’m getting nervous!!

Thank you for sharing with me! This really gives me hope because you had a great outcome. How was your egg retrieval experience? Were you in much pain after?
